I know that when my babies were ready to start eating table food, I was excited. I was excited to introduce them to new foods and expand their pallets. Then once its time to allow them to feed themselves, I was excited but at the same time I knew to expect a huge mess. I dont know a baby who is not messy when it comes to self feeding. My son is 2 and he still makes quite a mess. Most of the time he doesnt mean to make a mess. His plate or bowl may slide around when he is trying to get food off of it, or, when he is in one of his many ornery moods, he will make a mess just to make a mess. I know that just about every kid does this. Well, as soon as I was sent the Lil' Diner, I had to try it out. First of all this is so easy to assemble, then you attach it to a flat surface. You attach the plate or bowl to the top suction cup and the 2 bottom suction cups to the tray or table. Once it is attached, you are ready to serve your kiddo! I had my doubts, but after serving a couple of meals and no spills or plates slipping onto the floor, I am convinced and I now have a new feeding buddy for my little man! The Lil' Diner is truly perfect for feeding time for your little ones!! This seems like a really great product. My daughter LOVES to throw her dishes when she's done eating, whether she has finished all the food or not (maybe that's why the dogs are getting fatter?).
