Home For The Holidays: Del Monte, Starkist and College Inn Review and Giveaway CLOSED!

Can you believe that Thanksgiving is just 2 weeks away?? Yes it is true. I know that in my house we have already gotten our menu together and we have been going over what all we will be needing so we can be ready before the feast rush at the store. I know that I like to have my traditional sides included like green bean casserole, corn and candied yams in my home. During the day of Thanksgiving I like to prepare finger foods because we usually have people coming in and out during the day, and I like to be able to have something ready for them to snack on!! Well the people over at Del Monte, Starkist, and College Inn understand and are right there with me on this!! At Del Monte, they carry the green beans I need for my green bean casserole and the pineapple I need for my candied yams and the corn I need for my side. Then at Starkist, they have the tuna I need to make my little tuna finger sandwiches! I was given some green beans, corn and pineapple from Del Monte, a variety of tuna from Starkist and some broth from College Inn to sample and review for my readers. We have used the Del Monte green beans, corn and pineapple before and I can tell you that these items are perfect for what I need them for. We did try a new recipe for the green beans which was very delightful, you can try the Italian Green Bean Saute recipe by going to http://recipes.delmonte.com/solutions/Recipe.aspx?id=404  We sampled the broth from College Inn and we actually used it in a pot of posole, which turned out to be very good! With the Starkist tuna we decided to go on over to the Starkist website and check out some of the recipe ideas they have. My favorite new recipe that we tried would have to be the Tuna Stuffed Peppers. We also plan on changing up our finger foods menu this year and try some new and different recipes that caught our eyes and our stomaches!! This year when celebrating with the holiday meals, dont forget the green beans, corn and pineapple from Del Monte, the broths you will need from College Inn and the tuna from Starkist.
