Home For The Holidays: Duralex Kidishes Review and Giveaway CLOSED!!

During the holidays there seem to be plenty of sit down meals with the family. I know that my kids like to be big and serve themselves. The only issue with them serving themselves is slippery fingers. Accidents happen, but when dishes break it can be dangerous. I know that every time I have dropped a dish, it seems as though that one little tiny piece of glass that I happen to miss always ends up coming out and getting someone. Then when you are serving holiday meals if a dish breaks, it can be dangerous especially if you have little prewalkers around. I know I would hate for one of my friends kids to get stuck in the hand or something, or even one of our animals to get cut by a piece of broken glass. That is why I love Duralex. Duralex makes tableware that is made from tempered glass and they have been around for over 80 years. Duralex invented the glass tempering process. I love that the glassware that Duralex makes is impact and chip resistant. 

I think that having to replace our dinnerware every couple of years, then having mix match tableware is just a waste. Going with Duralex, especially when you have kids, just makes sense!! I was given some of the Duralex kids tableware to sample and review. It was but a few minutes after we had set the table, that my 2 year old dropped the Duralex cup. I knew it was going to happen, I just didnt expect it to happen before we had even served dinner. But at least it passed my 2 year old proof test! My son had taken it off of his tray to have me fill it with juice, he had just gotten the cup when his sister ran into him and he dropped it. So not only did it pass the drop test, but he dropped it with a little force from the impact that his sister created. The look on my daughters face was priceless, she was shocked that the glass didnt break. I was impressed that there was not even a chip on the glass! I will be bringing these out for the kids more often and these will definitely be used at our Thanksgiving dinner and brought to my parents for Christmas dinner.
