Cheddar's Casual Cafe Review & $50 Gift Card #Giveaway Closed!!

With a family we are always looking for places to dine that offer good food, great atmosphere and friendly service. One restaurant that we have found here is Cheddar's Casual Cafe. The menu choices are awesome and the food is so delicious and fresh when it reaches your table. One of my favorites is the Homemade Chicken Pot Pie. It is so delicious and it has that homemade taste to it that is just amazing. Well I was given the chance to do a review for Cheddar's Casual Cafe in Amarillo. This time I decided to try something different. When we got to the restaurant we were greeted by some very friendly hostess's, who took us to a very comfortable table to eat at. It was not but a couple of minutes after sitting down that we ordered our drinks and appetizer. We had friends that joined us. We were brought a good portion of chips and some very tasty queso with some very tasty salsa. I am a salsa addict and I love eating a salsa that I just want to pick up and drink. We were ready to order once our appetizers had arrived. I did originally want to go with my usual, the Homemade Chicken Pot Pie, but right before it was my turn I changed my mind and went with the Top Sirloin Steak and Shrimp. We had quite a few people in our party and I was surprised on how fast they were able to get our orders out, especially since we were all separate tickets. My husband had ordered the New Fish Tacos and got one grilled taco and one hand battered fish taco. My kids went with the chicken strips, as usual. It seemed as though everyone at our table was enjoying their meals, because just after everyone received their meals the table went silent. I see that as a good sign that the food is good!! I know that mine was amazing. Even though I could not finish my plate, I was able to sample everything on my plate. I was very pleased, and at the end of the night it seemed as though everyone at the table was satisfied and very full!! In all the entire dinning experience was amazing and very enjoyable. We did not have the room for dessert, but every time a dessert plate came out, it seemed as though the kids eyes became very big. On the way to the parking lot as we were all saying goodnight to one another, everyone agreed that they really enjoyed the service and the food. Since Cheddar's is a scratch kitchen, everything is made from scratch and that is why the food is that good!!!!
