Bright Starts Introduces Special Design Contest for Pretty in Pink Baby’s PlayPlace™
Innovative Toy and Gear Brand Calls Kids to Find their Pink Power through Drawing
WHAT: Bright Starts is launching its first ever national design contest for the Pretty in Pink Baby’s PlayPlace. This is one of Bright Starts most popular play gyms and part of the meaningful collection that supports breast cancer awareness and research.
WHO: Boys and girls ages 5-11 are invited to submit an inspirational drawing and story that explains the picture and why they should be chosen as a “Pink Power Kid.”
WHY: The Pink Power Kids’ winning art will be incorporated into the next Pretty in Pink Baby’s Play Place design. Moreover, a portion of the proceeds from the Pretty in Pink Collection support Bright Start’s Pink Power Mom™ charities and breast cancer programs throughout the nation.
HOW: The children are asked to submit a drawing about what inspires them and brightens their day on a white 8.5 x 11 (or larger) piece of paper using crayons, paint brushes, finger painting, sponges or markers. They may use what they like best.
Themes that Bright Starts is looking for include fun and sweet items like flowers, butterflies, ladybugs, etc. and nature elements such as clouds, sun, grass, leaves etc. Abstract art is also welcome.
To review contest rules and submit, children and/or their parents may go to the Bright Starts website: www.brightstarts.com.
More information and the contest rules can be found at the website as well.
WHEN: The contest is LIVE Now and ends on December 16, 2011.
WINNERS: Ten Pink Power Kids will…
· Have their designs or an element of their designs incorporated into the new Bright Starts Pretty in Pink Baby’s Play Place, launching in 2013
· Have their name and picture posted on the Bright Starts website, Facebook page and be included in a press release

I love Bright Starts products! I like them even more now that I know they support Breast Cancer charities. Great company.
My children don't fit in this age bracket, but my BFF has seven year old twins.
Going to share this with her.
This is so cute. My daughter would love this :)
