Zeiss Educational Tools: Preparing For Your Next Eye Exam

I have worn glasses for about seven years now. I had known that I needed glasses before, but it wasnt until I went to get my drivers license renewed that I realized I needed to get an eye exam. Since then I have gotten yearly eye exams and since then I have gone to different doctors. I just had not found a eye doctor that I cared to go to each year. Then last year, my daughters teacher came to me and suggested that she have her eyes checked, that is when I realized that I needed to find a eye doctor that we can all go to and use regularly. I think the reason for the change in doctors each year was for one, I had a few doctors that either moved their offices to areas that are pretty out of my way and I also had a couple of doctors that closed their offices, so that left me looking for a new eye doctor constantly. This year when we all go in for our eye exams, I know that I can go to Zeiss so I can find the perfect eye doctor for myself and my family. Zeiss is a global leader in precision optics and offers free educational tools that give you tips for selecting an eye doctor as well as many facts for you about vision and the different types of lenses that are available.

These educational tools include:
Facts to know about vision and lenses
Tips for selecting a eye doctor
Questions to ask at your next eye appointment
Facts to know about age-related vision changes

These great educational tools allow patients to understand their vision, the lenses they use, and vision correction needs to give the patients what they need so that they can get the best out of their next visit to the eye doctor. Zeiss Individual gives eyeglass wearers an improved experience. It is the first system out there that brings the patients face, the frames and their prescription all together to create a one of a kind lens that is made just for the patient. One of the things that really stood out for me was the i.Profiler plus by Zeiss. This is a diagnostic tool that analyzes your eyes performance to a level of detail that goes way beyond any traditional methods. The measurements that are taken are then used to create a i.Scription lens that is made to fit each patients own unique vision needs more accurately than any other technology that has been used in the past. With this technology you get sharper vision with better contrast and color perception! In a study done using the Zeiss Individual, they found that patients were able to adapt faster to their new lenses, which I personally find to be amazing. Because it seems that every time I have gone in to get my eyes checked, the prescription is changed and having to adapt to the new lenses can literally be a headache. So when you are looking to schedule your next eye exam, go to Zeiss and utilize the educational tools when you are there and prepare yourself for your appointment!

I was given a gift card and a product from Zeiss and MomSelect for this post. I was not compensated and all opinions in this post are my own.

What great educational tools! I know when I go to the eye doctor I never really understand what they're talking about. This definitely helps!
