Shopping For Mom at Buy.com (Gifts For Mom: Mothers Day 2012)

I love Mother's Day and I love finding all the great deals on items for mom! One site that I love to shop at for any occasion is Buy.com. I tend to find deals on products that I might be looking at on other sites then when I go to Buy.com, I will find an even better deal which draws me to shopping more at Buy.com. Sure Mother's Day means that your kids and spouse are supposed to shop for you and that you are supposed to shop for your mom, but I am pregnant, so when I find goodies that are perfect for Mother's Day, I have to sample them for myself first! Recently I was sent such a treat, I was sent a pound of David's Cookies from Buy.com. I love how when they came in, I opened the canister to find a variety of cookies that were fresh baked and very delicious! I would have to say that these cookies will be a Mother's Day must have for me!

A new survey of Buy.com customers found that helping moms get “plugged in” this holiday tops the shopping list, as the “Gadget Goddess” mom ranked first among gift-giving categories. In a survey of more than 25,000 Buy.com customers, respondents were polled to categorize their moms’ interests and potential favorite gifts for Mother’s Day. The largest number of Buy.com customers (nearly 40 percent) saw their mom as a “Gadget Goddess,” because of her love of tech toys including cell phones, cameras, cloud computing devices and tablets. Other mom shopping categories included:

• The Trendsetter Mom: 24 percent of respondents consider their mom a trendsetter because of her love for high fashion, including brands such as Michael Kors and Nine West
• The Fitness Fashionista Mom: Nearly two in 10 respondents believe their mom is a fitness queen as her must-haves include running shoes, a yoga mat and a medicine ball (18 percent)
• The On-the-Go Gal: Finally, 18 percent of Buy.com customers think their super busy alpha moms just want to be pampered this holiday with her favorite movie orbook and an at-home spa day
