As a parent, I find myself always worried about where my kids are at and what they may be doing. I know that as they get older and as I give them more responsibilities, I can not be there with them at all times of day and night. It can be very scary. I am a mother who worries. I worry about whether or not my daughter, who was supposed to walk to her friends house after school, made it there on time and if she made it there with out any issues. I worry about when she and her friends go walking around the neighborhood, if they are safe and if she gets to the park safely. Now, Estrella does have a cell phone, but do you know how hard it is to make sure that a 9 year old girl carries that cell phone with her when she needs to, and that the phone is charged up? It is not as easy as it may seem, so it may make some of that worrying I have a little less, but I still have them, and when I turn on the news or even log into my social media and I see those missing children alerts, the worry I had that may have gone down, goes way up. So, what am I to do? I mean, sure, I could follow her around and hide in the bushes and keep track of her that way, but then her friends would label me as the crazy mom. Or I could come back to today's reality and get her a RT01 Watch Locator which has GPS location on it for kids. What is the RT01 Watch Locator? Well, it is this amazing device that is not only great for parents to put on their kids to keep track of them, but also great to put on their elderly loved ones and even other loved ones who may have disabilities. In fact with the RT01 there are many options for wearing it, not just wearing it as a watch. You can wear it as a necklace if that is what suits you.
So the next question for most would be, how does the tracking on this device work? For being a watch, it is not like any other watch I have ever seen, or not like any other GPS device I have ever seen either. In fact, this is an amazing GPS tracking device that I think that all parents and caregivers should have. Not only can you track your children when they are wearing one, but you can track them from your smartphone, your tablet or computer. You can also talk to them, listen in on them if you need to check up to make sure they are doing what you are expecting them to do. You can designate safety zones, so if your child ventures outside of those safety zones, you will be alerted. Also, there is two way texting for additional communication, which I know is going to be a hit with my daughter who is a texing addict, lol. Also, say if I am not available for any reason during a emergency, an alert will be sent to others that I designate as emergency contacts so that my children can remain safe. I love that I can even add the smaller one to Wyatt's clothing when I am at the park, and if he ventures out of the safety zone, I will get an alert to my smart phone. Also, with bullies at school, Estrella and Robert can alert me and I can listen in and take control of the situations and eliminate those issues. There are numerous reasons I can find on why having a personal tracking device for each of my children is important and as a parent and or a caregiver, the reasons are clear. With an average of about 800,000 kids that go missing each year in the United States, I think everyone should have a personal tracking device for their kids.
- Comprehensive network that links their GPS-enabled device to a parent’s smart phone or computer
- Real-time tracking with the ability to manually set up reporting intervals
- Designation of “safety zones” so that a parent can be alerted when a child leaves the zone
- Ability to monitor a child’s GPS device and listen in to their environment
- Audio conversation via a child’s GPS device and a parent’s smart phone
- Two-way texting as an additional means of communication
- A quick SOS button that allows the child that first sends a danger signal to parents
- If not acknowledged by the parent, the SOS will be sent to additional responsible parties you select
- Single-button dialing to communicate with a designated parent/contact
