ClickN Kids Tablet (Holiday Guide)

The holidays are coming, and so are those holiday wish lists. It seems as though every year, the items my kids want changes. They are getting older and with that comes those electronic items that are must haves. With Estrella, she is a girl that enjoys her computer time, both on the family computer and on the iPad, so this year, she has asked that she be trusted to have a kids tablet of her own. Now with the family computer and even iPad, I have certain settings on them, to keep the kids from going to certain sites and to also monitor their use. So, when she told us that she wanted a tablet this year, one that she can use and not have to share with her brother, I found myself searching for such an item that I would feel safe about her using. That is when I came across the ClickN Kids tablets.

One of the first things to stand out for me on this particular tablet was that it is the first ever tablet to offer a dual purpose interface, allowing it to be enjoyed by both kids and adults. For me that means that if I wanted to get on the tablet, I can, and I can also feel good about Estrella using the tablet, knowing that this tablet comes with some of the best parental controls out there.

Then for the parent feature, I can use the Grownups Section, which allows me to use this tablet and get all of the full features just like any other tablet! Aside from the fact that this tablet is basically family friendly, making it so that it is safe for kids to use and parents can use it as well on another setting to gain full access, I also found the 30 pre-loaded apps to be great! They will give Estrella plenty to do and enjoy while she is on her tablet, from the Team Awesome to the Looney Tunes Phonics and much more! I know that with the parental controls with the web content filtering, built in monitoring and controls so that I can protect Estrella's identity while she is online, makes the idea of Estrella having her own tablet a easier one to accept. These controls can also prevent Estrella from downloading other apps as well as other functions.

Being a parent, and having all of those products that the kids have with batteries, I can really appreciate that I do not have to constantly replace the battery in this tablet, and the battery life lasts for up to 5 hours! With the Wi-Fi and built in media players, I know Estrella will enjoy being able to upload some of her music and videos from her iTunes and Music Disney accounts. I also like that there is 8GB of storage on this tablet, so when Estrella starts adding all of those pictures she takes of her toys, herself, brothers and friends, we do not have to worry about her running out of space too quickly. And yes, I did say pictures, because with this tablet she gets a front facing camera that will be put to plenty of use, knowing my daughter. In all, I found the features alone to be very family friendly and at $99.95 at Walmart, I can feel good about getting a second one for Robert to use! So this holiday season, while you are trying to find that perfect tablet to get the kids, one that has the multi-touch features as well as amazing parental controls, then stop looking and get the ClickN Kids Tablet today!

That is a good price for a tablet and it is nice that adults can enjoy it also.

I love how this wouldn't break the bank, but would give my grandsons hours of enjoyment! Neat product!

I like that it is dual purpose too. My 4 year old uses the iPad but I am always nearby when he uses it.
