Over the past year I have been on a life changing journey, one that I had to do for myself and my family. In the past year I have lost over 60 lbs, which is a lot, but I still have a ways to go before I get to my original goal. Taking the step to go to a gym was big, I mean, when I started my weight loss journey, I not only cut my calories and watched what I was eating, but I also started going on regular walks each day. I found that when the winter months came about, I was coming up with excuses to myself because it was too cold or there was snow and or ice on the ground, so I did not go walking.
