Caring for Senior Pets with Petcurean

This post is sponsored and written by me on behalf of Petcurean through a campaign managed by their PR. All opinions are my own.

When it comes to our pets, we find that just like other members of the family, the health of our fur babies is just as important. We had noticed that our dog Chloe was a bit sluggish and had lost the pep she once had. She was tired all of the time, did not show interest in running outside with the kids or going for walks. So a few months back when we were told that our dog Chloe was obese and that we needed to change up her diet, I was concerned. After talking with her vet we took his advice and made a change with Chloe's diet and switched up her dog food with the Petcurean Now Fresh Senior.

Within a month of the change of foods from her old dog food to the Petcurean Now Fresh we started noticing that Chloe had more energy and at her next appointment with the vet we also saw that she had lost some weight. This was huge since it seemed that Chloe's age was catching up with her, and we were not sure what we could do to reverse it at the time.

Well now we are several months down the road from the initial change up and I have to say that the Chloe we have today, is different from the Chloe we had this time last year.

This noticeable change is not just something we have seen but something that her vet said was a great improvement from just a few months ago. To start with, her fur has a healthier shine to it, it is a lot softer and with the spring shedding that we are used to, we have noticed that Chloe is not shedding like she used to. When we brought up that aspect when the vet pointed out her healthier coat, he said that the change in her diet has most likely helped to improve not only her coat but also decrease the amount of shedding she used to have. We learned that having the proper nutrition can make a big difference in how a dog sheds, and after comparing Chloe's old dog food brand with the Petcurean Now Fresh, well the reasons for this change are very clear.

Aside from her fur showing a drastic change for the best, Chloe has also lost weight. She is acting like a younger version of herself, similar to the dog she was 5 years ago. She is more playful, more alert, and when it comes to that old enthusiasm for going on a walk, well that is back as well. Which are all things that we are glad to see a change in, and as you can see in the photos, Chloe is glad to have the changes as well! Making the choice to change our senior dog's diet with the Petcurean Now Fresh Senior, a choice that we stand by and are very glad we made!
