The kids are back in school and like many homes across the country, we are getting back into those busy schedules and routines. As a mom, I like to seek out ways that can help to make those schedules a little easier on everyone. For me, when it comes to the routines that come with the fall schedules, I find that after school practices can take up our evenings, which includes the time the kids have for those after school snacks and playtime. So as a parent, when I head out to do my grocery shopping I like to pick up a variety of the drinks that my kids enjoy and not only use them for lunches, but also for those after school snacks and treats by adding products from the Dr Pepper Snapple Group. I like that when I shop the line up of products from the Dr Pepper Snapple Group, I can find a little something for everyone. Like those must have drinks that my kids enjoy which include Mott’s, Yoo-hoo, and Hawaiian Punch.
With the Yoo-hoo drink boxes, I find that they are great for packing in those school lunches. The kids love the flavor, and I like that the Yoo-hoo drinks remind me of my own childhood and go great with those classic lunches like PB&J! Yoo-hoo is a drink that can be drank both off the shelf and ice cold, and I can also appreciate that when my kids drink a Yoo-hoo they are getting a delicious chocolaty drink that is rich in calcium and Vitamin D!

For other days where my kids prefer a juice drink in their lunches or for when we are leaving for practice, having the Hawaiian Punch Pouches is a must! My kids love the flavor, I like that they are convenient to have on hand, and when my older kids are at practice, I can play at the park with my preschooler as he enjoys his Hawaiian Punch!
Then when it comes to finding those ways to make the after school snacks and treats enjoyable for everyone, I like that I can simply freeze any of the drinks my kids enjoy from the Dr Pepper Snapple Group line like when we freeze the Mott's Apple Juice! Making a frozen snack for the kids is simple, by just adding some Mott's Apple Juice, which has 100% Juice, to a ice cube tray and freezing them while the kids are at school. These are great for when we only have time to run home, get some homework done then run to practice, because the kids can grab them and go! The juice cubes are also a great choice for making when we want to head out to play at the park as well, allowing us to have a treat that is refreshing and fun!

In fact, when it comes to those back to school schedules, I also like to seek out ways to include active play time. Like many families, we too find that we are pulled in different directions with our schedules, and after my kids have had to sit in a classroom all day, I like to find ways to get them as well as the rest of my family up and active. I can do this with my youngest when we play at the park while my older kids are at practice, and when it comes to finding more ideas on how I can get my family active, I like that I can go to LetsPlay.com where they have lots of great tips and ideas for families!

By heading to the Let's Play site for ideas on keeping my kids active we can avoid being part of the 33% of kids who do not participate in daily active play. This statistic is one that was found in a survey that Let's Play had conducted showing that daily active play has decreased from the 41% in 2015. And with the info that we can find on Let'sPlay.com as well as adding the variety my kids enjoy from Dr Pepper Snapple Group, I can not only have drinks and snacks that they can enjoy, but also find ways to keep us active! Making the choices to pick up drinks from the more than 50 brands that can be found in stores from the Dr Pepper Snapple Group and getting ideas from Let's Play, ones that everyone in my house can enjoy!

The freeze tray is a great idea for an afterschool snack for my grandsons! I love those size bottles for the apple juice, too!

I loved Hawaiian Punch as a kid! It's great tasting without being too sweet. I love the ice cube idea as well. Fun for all!
