Power Your Mornings with Melitta Coffee


In my house, we find the mornings always call for coffee, at least for me that is. I am one who requires coffee to wake up with and function properly, and like many who find that coffee is a necessity for sanity, I enjoy having a variety and even changing up how I drink it. This includes the adding of various creamers I come across, going with the hot or iced, and even searching for and trying the different coffee varieties out there. So when we were sent a selection of products that included both the coffee and a pour over coffee brewer to review from the selection of coffee and brewers you can get at Melitta Coffee, I was excited to try them.


With the coffee selections that included the Vienna Dark Roast and the Hazelnut Creme Brulee Flavored Coffee, I found that they not only were great for drinking with a little creamer but also with making them into delicious iced coffee creations. I say this because with the warmer days here, I enjoy starting my days with the different iced coffees I can make. I also found that to help make that iced coffee that I enjoy for one, I have been able to use the 1-Cup Pour-Over Coffee Brew Cone & Travel Mug Set. Allowing me to make my coffee variations with both the hot and the iced, and take it on the go when I head out the door in the mornings.

Then when it comes to getting that perfectly brewed cup every time, I like that I can head to the Melitta site, and get the info and tips on the various brewing methods and on how to brew a better cup! And when it comes to finding different recipes, I can get those as well, like the Artisan Cold Brew with Melitta recipe that the people from Melitta shared with me:

1.     In a pitcher, add 2/3 cup of ground Melitta Coffee to 16oz of cold water. Mix well. 
2.     Cover pitcher and chill for 4+ hours. Remove from refrigerator and stir vigorously
3.     Place a Melitta Cone Filters in Melitta Pour-Over Cone. Set cone atop a carafe or jar. Pour the stirred coffee/water mix into filter. Wait for all liquid coffee to filter through and drip in carafe below Repeat pour-over process until all mix is filtered. You now have Melitta Cold Brew Concentrate
4.     Keep Cold Brew Concentrate covered and chilled for up to a week. Enjoy!

This coffee sound so delicious. I too love alot of coffees I love to find new ones and flavors to try. My Favorite Reg coffee is Hazlenut. And my Favorite coffee beverage hot and cold is Mocha. I am sure I would love Caramel too..

I have recently started brewing iced coffee in the early evenings. I am enjoying it during this hot summer. I didn't realize you could cold brew it this way and store it for up to a week!

Not a coffee drinker BUT every one in my extended family drinks it. This looks like something every one of them would want.
