Holiday Guide: Gift Giving with nabi SE 7” Tablet

When it comes to the holidays and finding the kids what they want and what they will appreciate getting, I like to seek out the gifts that can offer a lot when it comes to keeping the kids engaged. Like many parents with little kids in todays' world, I find that technology is everywhere and that kids of all ages are pretty tech savvy. I also know that when kids have devices such as tablets, they can utilize the learning apps and more to help them with building their skills. So when we were sent a nabi SE 7" Tablet to review, I knew that Heather would enjoy checking it out and sharing her thoughts with our readers.

As a parent to a child that starts kindergarten a little later because they just miss the cut off to start, this Nabi SE Tablet will help fill in the educational gaps. I like that as he uses the apps available, it will help him with reading, writing, and math. There are over 300,000 questions and 16,000 lessons for grades pre-k through 6th. With the parental control features you can choose what and when they play. You can set times to play and when time is up, they get locked out. Making it so you don’t have to worry about too much screen time.

Along with the learning features and the parental controls, there is also a reward system. This helps kids want to learn or do their chores so they get something special such as a treasure box or coins. There is also an app that tells parents how well your child is doing at learning and where they might need extra help. Another feature that stood out for me is social networking. You can introduce your child to social networks but you have to approve the friend and get a code to add them. This will help to expand social skills and build confidence. The nabi SE will grow with my son Aiden and help him be a better student when he starts kindergarten in a year. It makes learning fun and because it is fun, it keeps his interest. Set up is easy and Aiden figured out how to navigate the apps pretty quick. Which in all, makes the nabi SE 7" Tablet a great item to have in any home with kids as well as a great gift to give this coming holiday season!

Product received, thank you to Mattel as well as the PR for supplying me with a product for this review, all opinions are my own.

I like how they built-in all the features that parents would look for - parental controls, learning apps, etc.
