The weather is getting nicer and the kids are outside more. I know in our neighborhood the kids are out riding bikes, skateboarding and zooming down the sidewalks on their scooters. My daughter loves to be outside with her friends. She does have a bike that she rides around but she has decided that she wants to do more than just ride bikes. She has friends that ride skateboards and she had really wanted to ride one. But I explained that it does take a whole lot of practice and a lot of balance is involved in mastering the skill of skateboarding. I am all for girls being boarders, but I know I am not graceful and my daughter is the same. So it may take a little extra practice, but I know she will be able to do it. I know this because I was given a Fisher Price Grow With Me Barbie Skateboard to review, courtesy of Fisher Price! This deck is great. The deck itself is perfect for kids. Then for beginners, like my daughter, it has handle bars that can be removed later on, like a scooter. Except the board is wider, the way a skateboard should be. The handle is also height adjustable so you can start with the little skaters! The Grow With Me Skateboard also comes in a blue that has a cool design on the top of the deck that boys can sport and learn to skate on as well! The suggested age for starting your little skaters out on these boards is 4 years old. The wonderful people from Fisher Price would like to give one of my amazing readers a Grow With Me Skateboard of their own!
