I am a huge fan of Tommee Tippee! I have used their products for my babies and I will continue to use the products in the future as well. From their amazing selection of Sippy Cups for Toddlers to their great line of newborn and infant items. They have the items you need for your little ones feeding care needs! You have two options when you have a new baby on how you will feed it. You can choose to breast feed or bottle feed, or even a combination of both, it is up to you on how you will feed your baby. We all know that breast feeding is the best way to go and that is what is recommended for your newborn. There are so many benefits for both your new baby and for you. From the fact that your babies immune system will be healthier and stronger and the fact that breast feeding helps you loose some of that baby weight as well. With both of my kids I chose to do a mixture of both breast feeding and bottle feeding. I quickly learned that combining the breast and the bottle can be tricky. First of all, you do not want to create issues for your baby like colic. Going from the breast to the bottle everyday, was what I had to do since I was working and going to school full time with my daughter. What I did not know is that the bottles I was using created too much air for my daughters little tummy and caused her to get colic. When I had learned about the issue, the last thing I thought about was that the bottles I was using was causing this. Bottles have changed over the past few years and I found that the Tommee Tippee Closer to Nature collection of bottles is the way to go when it comes to bottle feeding whether it is straight bottle or breast and bottle feeding. They are designed to mimic the breast and the extra wide nipple makes it easier for a easy latch on. I was sent the Tommee Tippee Closer to Nature Decorated Starter Set to review. This set has two 5oz and four 9oz bottles, a stage one clear shield pacifier, and a bottle and nipple cleaner, the perfect set to get you started when you have a new baby!
Another great Tommee Tippee item that I was sent for review is the Tommee Tippee Closer to Nature Single Electric Breast Pump System. This is perfect for pumping milk and pumping it comfortably. It has a soft touch cup for a natural fit that fits all sizes. It is very easy to set up and you can pump into a 5oz or a 9oz bottle, when you are done, you put a protection lid on it if you want to store it for later. Or for smaller amounts of breast milk, you can pump into one of the protection pods that you put into a bottle and you can pump either 2 or 4 ounces, then remove the pod and place a protection lid on it. Then the individual pods can be stored in the fridge or freezer in the compact storage tray. This breast Pump mimics a infants natural feeding action and has four levels that can be adjusted for your comfort and for efficiency. This breast pump comes with everything you need to get you started with breastfeeding. You get the single electric breast pump, a bottle stand, two extra valves, one 5oz bottle with a slow flow nipple and protection lid, two protection pods, six breast pads and a steri-box that is also a carrying case!
On top of the amazing products from Tommy Tippee, there is the site for parents to document their babies story. It is called The Day Baby Was Born. The Day Baby Was Born is a free service that gathers information about the day that your baby was born, based on your selections, then it creates a story book about your baby that you can share with your family and friends! This is a great way to capture and share your babies story and its free! Well the wonderful people from Tommee Tippee not only want to give all of my readers the chance to create their own special story book on their The Day Baby Was Born site, but they would also like to give one of my amazing readers the same set of products I was sent! That is right! One reader from Mommy Katie will win a Tommee Tippee Closer To Nature Decorated Starter Set and a Tomme Tippee Closer To Nature Single Electric Breast Pump!!
