Wordless Wednesday…I Got A Peanut!!

Meet our “Little Peanut”!!!! For the time being that is what we call it, we wont know the sex for a while, so for now, it is our “Little Peanut”.

This is our 8 week pic of the baby. I am now 9 weeks and I am enduring all of the wonderful morning sickness that for me, is 24/7, at this time. On top of the morning sickness I have caught a cold, so I have been feeling pretty yucky. We are very excited and the kids are as well. Of course you can imagine, we have a boy and a girl so we just hope and pray for a healthy baby. The kids do have their preferences. Estrella really wants a sister and Robert of course really wants a brother. I know that once we know, they will both be happy. Estrella wanted a sister when I was pregnant with her brother and when we found out he was going to be a boy, she was very excited! I took her to pick out some clothes and such and that seemed to make it more exciting for her. I will do the same with the kids this time around as well, but for now, I am trying everything I can to stay away from the porcelain throne. I dont think that the flem from my cold is not helping any. I am drinking lots of hot lemon tea with honey for my throat and sucking on Preggie Pops, which seem to help momentarily, but any moment out of the bathroom is one I cherish, lol.

Now I feel silly for my tweet earlier.Congrats again. And have you heard about ginger for nausea? Some folks swear by it and it's natural.

Yes, the Preggy Pops have Ginger in them, I have a unique morning sickness, and the preggy pops work for the nausea but I am afraid there is no relief for the other one. My Dr just said to keep hydrated.
