I think that one of my favorite things to do with my kids when it comes to back to school shopping is to go shopping for new clothes. With Robert, finding clothes that he likes is pretty simple, he likes certain characters and putting a pair of shorts and pants with a shirt is easy. Then there is Estrella, my diva, my shopping queen. She is particular about what she wears and it seems as she gets older the shopping gets harder. She loves to put her outfits together and this year the thing she is into is colors. In the past it was just pink and purple, which are still faves of hers, but this year she wants the bright and fun outfits that she and all of her little friends will be wearing. With that said, when it comes to shopping for my little diva, finding the styles and colors she wants is getting harder and harder for me, not only to find places that she likes to shop at, but also finding places to shop at that are affordable. Aside from the selection of clothing that my daughter adores and the prices that I find at Kohl’s, I have found that being able to shop from home for the same outfits that my daughter finds in store and for the same prices, to be a blessing in disguise for me since this mama has been grounded in her room for the past couple of months on bed rest. I also love the sales that they have around the back to school season and being able to earn that Kohl’s Cash shopping both online and in the store!!! There are just so many pluses that I find when I shop at Kohl’s. I think that one of the things my husband discovered this year, since I have put him in charge of taking the kids to get some of their back to school shopping done, is, when I sent him to Kohl’s to get a few things for the kids, he came home and was like a little kid all giddy and very proud of himself when he showed me the receipt and pointed out how much he saved and how little he spent! He also took some pictures of the sales that he saw, amazed by how much he could get and how he could make the money he went with go farther than he thought. I think he now realizes why I love Kohl’s and why I love taking Estrella there to get the clothing that she wants as well as clothing for the rest of the family.
Like I had said before, I did send my husband on a back to school shopping adventure to Kohl’s, just so he could see why I love shopping there and that I can get more for my money, but I have been doing the rest of the back to school shopping this year online. I love that I can find those same savings that I love to find in store, online, and when they have had their discounted shipping during their back to school sales, on top of the discount codes that they offer as well, I am able to enjoy the shopping experience that I would have otherwise enjoyed in store and in person!! This year my daughter has had to have these pants that are called jeggings. I did not have a clue what they were until I did some research on them, and that is when I found that not only does Kohl’s have great prices on their jeggings, but they also have a great selection of colors to choose from, which opens that door for my daughter to shop with me and find exactly what she wants online! I also found great deals on bras and socks for my daughter and the girls tops that she wanted to go with the jeggings that she picked out, and I was able to get all of these great items for a really great price!
This back to school season, my shopping was not only made easier by having the great sales and prices from Kohl’s, but I was also given a $50 gift card to use towards the shopping that I did this year, and the wonderful people from Kohl’s would like to give one of my amazing readers their own $50 Kohl’s Gift Card to use with their back to school shopping!!!
