Another week down, and another couple of pounds down in the books! I am really enjoying the weight coming off, but I must say, there are times that I just wish it would come off sooner. I am a results kinda gal, and even though my clothes are fitting looser, and the number on the scale is going down, when I look in the mirror, I still see the same image. My husband says that he can see the difference, and to not get discouraged, but I know that when it comes to weight loss, that I am not the only woman who has felt like that. I know that I need to look at the facts that are in front of me, like just 6 weeks ago I was 22 pounds heavier, and I was not able to fit in some of the clothes that I can now wear. I was also huffing and puffing when I would go for a walk with the kids, now I am able to take those walks longer and go farther than I did when I started, so yes, I am proud, and I look forward to even more accomplishments as they come my way. So, my week, well, I still had to deal with a sick baby, he has a wet chesty cough and I have been having to do breathing treatments with him, also limit his time outside, but I still have my daughter who walked with me. Then night before last, as I was doing some working out, I pulled a muscle in my back, no fun, and oh yeah, OUCH!! Right after I pulled the muscle, I made it worse by bending over to pick up Wyatt, not a smart move, so when I went to the Dr to weigh in yesterday she was able to check over my back and help me with that so that I can continue with my workouts. Oh and let me just add in, to those of you who are fixing to put in your order, for desert, the carrot cake is sooooooo good!!! I love the carrot cake, and if I could work a diet around it I would, but then I would probably end up backtracking this journey so I will refrain myself and be thankful that they have it on their menu for me to choose from when I put in my order each month 😉 Here is to 22 lbs down and many more to go!!!!
The meals and supplies for this weight loss journey were provided to my by Nutrisystem, all opinions are my own and I was not paid to say anything. Thank you to the sponsor!
