With having a baby turn 1, there are many things that you can get baby. The thing is, I find that getting items that are useful or memorable for that first birthday to be ideal since they most likely will not remember all of the toys they get. Well, with Wyatt up and walking at 9 months, I found that putting shoes on those little feet was much needed. I really loved all of those adorable crib shoes, but now that he is walking or should I say running, I need to get shoes that move with him and that are also supportive. Recently I was sent a pair of shoes that are just what I was looking for, from one of my favorite kids shoe companies! I was sent a pair of the pediped Grip & Go shoes for Wyatt, which made for a perfect birthday gift for my little man this year!
Wyatt has older siblings, and seeing them as well as myself and my husband all wearing shoes the majority of the time, he wants them as well. He loves shoes, in fact when we are getting ready to go, he will run and look for shoes then bring them to me, even if they are not his shoes, lol. With the Pedipeds that we were sent, one of the first things I noticed was that these adorable shoes resemble Wyatt’s big brothers shoes, which is something I know he will like. After taking them out of the box, I noticed and appreciated how light they were, as well as how flexible the soles are. They are not soft like the pre-walker shoes that he has really loved, but they are also not bulky and stiff like his older siblings shoes are, which makes them perfect for my little walker. From the original eyeballing test, I knew that once we put them on Wyatt, he would not want to take them off. I was so right, in fact, he was so excited to have some big boy shoes on, so he could run and chase his big brother and sister. Then when it was time to come in, he insisted that he leave his shoes on while he played indoors as well. Aside from the obvious fit and the flexibility which is perfect for a toddler, I really like the fact that I can wash these shoes in the washer machine when they get stinky or dirty, which is a huge plus for many moms out there! I found that the Pediped Grip & Go shoes were the perfect choice for Wyatt for many reasons and they also made for a great gift on his first birthday. Well to help celebrate Wyatt’s first birthday, the wonderful people from Pediped are going to give one of my amazing readers a pair of the pediped Grip & Go Shoes!
