Fathers Day is just around the corner, and finding dad that gift he will really enjoy is something I aim for! With my own dad and husband, I know that they both enjoy their beer from time to time, and another thing they also like, is to to create their own things, from cooking to building things. So when I started thinking about ideas for Fathers Day, I thought about bringing the fact that they do enjoy beer and creating things together, and got them each a home brewing kit this year!
Recently I was sent a KickAss American Wheat All Grain Micro Brew Equipment Kit to review for this years Fathers Day Guide!
With the KickAss American Wheat Kit, my dad and my husband can each take their love for beer to a whole new level by brewing their own beer, right from the comfort of home! This kit comes with a 1 gallon glass jug, 38mm screw cap with hole, a Airlock, thermometer, a mini auto-siphon, some siphon hoses, a bottle filler and bottle capper, some gold crown caps, some 8oz easy clean, and the ingredients to get your brew started! The wheat that comes with this kit is perfect for a great summer brew, making this kit one that will make a great gift to give dad!
When our kit arrived, we took it out and began the brewing process, which takes about a month from start to finish. One of the things that I noticed when looking at the instructions on how to get the brewing process started was how specific it needs to be, so that it can brew properly. Also with the ingredients, insuring you have the right sugars should also make a difference in how the brew turns out. The kit we were sent has enough supplies for a small batch of beer, which is good since this will be our first.
Once we complete our brewing process, I like that we can go on and purchase the ingredients for future batches! I have found the home brew kit to be a great gift to give this Fathers Day and you can too, because the wonderful people who sent us our kit would like to send one of my amazing readers their own Deluxe Brewing Starter Kit!!!
This was not a paid post and honest/original opinions were used and they are my own. Thank you to the company and/or pr agency who supplied the product for review.
