As adults and as parents, we find that the stresses of the day can really take a toll on our mental state of being. For me, I like to seek out things that can help to relax my mind, as well as relieve some of the stresses of the day. One thing that I have found that really helps to make a difference is coloring. I mean, as kids we found that coloring was fun and relaxing, and is something that as adults we might have lost sight of. So for me, I enjoy finding those coloring pages and books that can help with relaxing my mind.
As I seek out those things that I can color when it comes to relaxing the mind, I enjoy finding coloring books that are elaborate, and allow me to really enjoy the task of coloring and get lost in it. So when we were sent the Coloring Dream Mandalas book by Wendy Piersall from Ulysses Press, I was excited to add it to my end of the day relaxation routines!
I found the pages to have a lot of detail to them, giving me a different project to work on, on each page. I also like that with the details on each page, I can have a coloring project that lasts for a few nights, allowing me to take my time, and fill in the spaces as I choose to do so! Making the Coloring Dream Mandalas, along with the other books you can find at Ulysses Press by Wendy Piersall, a great collection of books to get for anyone who is looking for ways to relax and de stress.

I've wanted to try these adult coloring books since I heard of them a few months ago! Seems like an interesting concept and certainly can't hurt for stress relief 🙂
