The holiday shopping season is here, and with that, we seek out the sales on the items we will be needing for our families and for putting under the tree. Like many, when it comes to the holidays and the colder weather, I like to seek out those warm and cozy pajamas that are great for putting under the tree and also for keeping everyone warm. So when I heard that this Tuesday, November 29th, which is Giving Tuesday, that my local Carter’s store and Carters.com will be participating with Pajama Program, I was excited to mark my calendar and also learn more about the initiative.
See with the partnership between Carter’s and the Pajama Program this Giving Tuesday, Carter’s will donate pajamas to kids in need for every pajama purchase that is made in one of their 600+ US retail stores and online at Carters.com. The goal is to provide that same warmth and comfort that we give our kids with the pajamas from Carters, to those in need, up to 100,000 sets of pajamas and to surpass the $2 million in pajama donations in prior years!
This means that when I shop the close to 900 styles which includes the 1-piece, 2-piece, 4-piece, and gown options in cotton, flannel and fleece in sizes newborn to 12 years for boys and girls, I can be sure to find those perfect PJs for my kids this holiday season and also know that a child in need will be getting warm and cozy PJ’s as well. Making Carter’s not only the place where I head to when I am seeking those pajamas that my kids love, but also where I can go this Giving Tuesday to help give back to kids in need!
