When it comes to my kids and the sports they play, we like to show our support with the other parents by having tailgating parties and making parent and supporter ribbons! We have found that during the games, having those team color ribbons for our kids displayed on our shirts shows team spirit and also helps to bring up the team moral as a whole. We also have found that by having a tailgating party after a game helps to bring the team, coaches, the families and other supporters together to enjoy the time, win or loose! So when it comes to those tailgating parties for both my son after a football game or my daughter after a soccer game, I like to seek out the ingredients that offer a little kick to them, such as the hot sauces that I can find from the El Yucateco® line up.
I like that I can find the various hot sauces from the El Yucateco® line up at my local Walmart store, and while there I can find other ingredients that I might be needing as well. Like for the taquitos and boneless wings we enjoy making for our tailgate parties. I can also appreciate that when I use the El Yucateco® sauces that I am using the #1 authentic habanero hot sauce that are made from hand picked habeneros and that are also the #1 choice among consumers like myself! Another reason that we find that El Yucateco® is our hot sauce of choice is because with the El Yucateco® Red Chile Habanero, you get a hot all purpose sauce, made with fresh red habanero peppers, tomato, and select spices and seasonings. With the El Yucateco® Green Chile Habanero , I like that it is a step up from the El Yucateco® Red Chile Habanero when it comes to the heat, made with fresh green habanero peppers, garlic, select spices and seasonings, and that it is also the El Yucateco® #1 seller nationally. Then with the El Yucateco® Black Label Reserve, I like that you get a great smoked flavor because it is made with fire roasted habanero’s giving you a rich smoky sauce stands out from all others with it’s unique flavor and appearance.
To get started for our tailgating spread of taquitos and boneless wings, I went with the El Yucateco® Green Chile Habanero and El Yucateco® Red Chile Habanero to use for the wings and in the taquitos. I also used these sauces along with the El Yucateco® Black Label Reserve in the dipping sauces that I made to use for both the wings and taquitos!
For the dipping sauces for both the wings and taquitos:
1 jar of mayonnaise
3 Tablespoons El Yucateco® Green Chile Habanero
3 Tablespoons El Yucateco® Red Chile Habanero
3 Tablespoons El Yucateco® Black Label Reserve
Split the jar up evenly into 3 bowls. With each of the bowls, put the El Yucateco® sauces in them, separately so that each sauce had its own bowl with mayonnaise in them. Mix each of the sauces well, label, cover and set the sauces aside to serve with the food later on.
For the Boneless Wings both the Sauced and the Naked Wings:
El Yucateco® Green Chile Habanero
El Yucateco® Red Chile Habanero
3 chicken breasts (cubed)
2 cups flour
(adjust the following seasonings to taste)
1/2 tablespoon cayenne pepper
2 teaspoons salt
2 tablespoons pepper
1/2 tablespoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon cumin
*for hot oil to cook wings and taquitos in, fill your pan with half inch of oil*
Heat up oil so it is hot and ready to use. Mix all dry ingredients together. Break eggs and whisk in a separate bowl. Take the pieces of chicken, dip in egg, dip and roll in dry mix, back in the egg, then again in dry mix and add to hot oil. Cook chicken until golden brown then place on paper towel to get excess oil off of the pieces, repeat the steps until all chicken in cooked.
After your chicken is done, put half the cooked chicken in one bowl then put aside for your naked wings without sauce on them. With the other half, put in half again and place each half in separate bowls. Add a decent amount of the El Yucateco® Green Chile Habanero to one batch of chicken and mix well, repeat with the other bowl using the El Yucateco® Red Chile Habanero, then cover for tailgate party.
2 tablespoons El Yucateco® Green Chile Habanero
1 tablespoon El Yucateco® Red Chile Habanero
3 chicken breasts (cooked and shredded)
1 package softened cream cheese
1 4 oz can green chiles
1 package corn tortillas
Take the chicken and split in half, putting half in one mixing bowl and the other half in another. For the first mix take the chicken and add the El Yucateco® Green Chile Habanero along with half of the cream cheese and green chiles then mix well. Do the same with the other half using the El Yucateco® Red Chile Habanero. After your chicken mixes are done, take the corn tortillas and start with the red sauce bowl by adding 2 spoonfuls of the chicken mix to a tortilla, roll, then place in the hot oil until tortilla is a light golden brown color, place on paper towels then plate on a platter for serving, continue until chicken mix is gone. Once you have completed cooking all of the red mix do the same with the green mix. Make sure you label your platters so that you know which are red and which are green, cover so they are ready for the tailgate party!
Then to complete your tailgate set up, you can add the parent and supporters ribbons as shown with details below, for everyone to wear to support the kids teams! These are simple to make and great for handing out prior to the game as everyone is meeting up in the parking lot. After the game ends, set out your El Yucateco® taquitos, sauces, and wings and enjoy!
