When it comes to the home and the family pets, we find that just like when we clean up after our kids that we also have to clean up after our fur babies, especially when you have indoor cats. The thing is, those little boxes can get pretty stinky, leaving the chore one that get the reaction of “Not It!” in my home. So when we were sent the Litter Genie to review, I was curious to see how it would work and also see if having this would make the litter box clean up a little easier.
First off, when our Litter Genie arrived, I found the assembly was very simple and all of the pieces I needed were inside the Litter Genie, ready to put on and put to use! Once I got the scooper and scooper holder attached to the side, I found the installation of the bags to be easy as well, reminding of me putting together those diaper pails we have used in the past with our babies.
Then after the Litter Genie was all put together, I found that “Not It!” tune that seemed to be a regular saying when it was time to clean the cat box, changed. Instead, my kids were literally begging to clean the cat box, just so they could use the Litter Genie, and with the kids, they were able to scoop the waste, dump what they scooped out into the bag in the Litter Genie, and pull the lever out to release the waste to the bottom of the bag. Leaving us with a clean litter box, and no smell of the used cat litter filling up the air. Making the Litter Genie a great item to add to any home that has cats that use a litter box!

I hope to get another cat within a year or so. I do want to try Litter Genie, it does seem like a terrific and helpful product.twinkle at optonline dot net
A cat version of the diaper genie! I'll have to tell my son about it because he has a cat.
