When it comes to our health and well being, we find that sleep plays a big part. Our bodies need sleep in order to function properly, but like many, when it comes to my own sleep, it is something that seems to be a lot easier said than done. The thing is, when I go to my doctor to discuss my blood pressure, heart rate, sleep patterns and overall health concerns, I can keep a journal of my sleep patterns but until recently, I did not have more than just that to present or reference to. So when I was introduced to EarlySense Live, I was curious to learn more about the system and also begin using it in my own bed.
See EarlySense Live is a device that is the world’s first hospital proven contact-free sensor which helps you to understand more about how your body is working, by not just tracking sleep patterns but also your heart rate and breathing patterns. Allowing you to get a sleep reading right from your phone, which is great for not only being able to use as a tracker for your own health but a device that can you can use for others in the family like your children and elderly family members.
You can track these by first setting up the EarlySense under your mattress, then adding the EarlySense Live App to your phone. The set up is simple and along with the instructions that are included, the app can also guide you through the set up process.
Once set up, I found that aside from being able to track sleep patterns, breathing and heart rate, I can also keep a diary of my daily activities which can affect all of these. Giving me a health tool, where I can see where I might be able to make changes in my diet, and activity, and also see where issues in my days can be seen in my sleep patterns.
Then when it comes to getting notifications in the mornings and alerts in the evenings, I found that in the mornings, I can get a full report showing me where there might have been changes in breathing along with any unusual heart rates. I can also follow the sleep patterns, and see the changes in sleep quality for myself, and have the sleep summary report to reference to when I talk to my doctor. I also like that along with getting the information on my sleep every morning sent to the app on my phone, that I can even get night reports, sending me alerts when breathing rates exceed predefined thresholds, or when monitoring a loved one, know when they get up from bed and have been out of bed for a certain amount of time. Giving myself and caregivers who utilize the EarlySense Live, a peace of mind when it comes to having the ability to track patterns and even get alerts as we sleep.
I would love the ability to track my sleep patterns. This sounds neat!
This is such a valuable tool to help with keeping track of your health. I need one of these devices to help me see what is going on with my health!
This sure would have helped me a few years ago when I was napping a few times during the day. I figured it was from getting poor sleep. It took 2 sleep study tests to find out I have Hypersomnia.
Sounds like something I can benefit from!
This would make keeping track of such things easier. I think though I would always have one of hose things checked- like stressful day!ellen beck

A great product for tracking sleep patterns. I like that you can keep a diary of your daily activities ,too.
