With the kids out for the summer break and enjoying the warm days, we find that it will not be long before it is time to get that back to school shopping done. Like many parents, I like to ensure that my kids have everything on their lists, and even though our summer seems like it just started, I find that now is a great time to get a head start on that back to school shopping. For me, as I start the back to school shopping, with or without those lists, I know that there are certain supplies that are staples. And to get a head start on my shopping, I like to pick up some of those items like the ones from the Elmer’s Glue and Expo line ups. So when we were sent a variety of products from the Expo and Elmer’s line up, I was glad to see the selections and also add them to my list of back to school shopping staples.
See, as a parent, I know that every year from Kindergarten up to the high school years, that the glue is a must have. And like many parents out there, I like to ensure that the kids have the glue products that are sure to help them with those projects both in class and at home through out the school year. So having both the clear glue sticks and bottles of glue from Elmer’s is a must have in my book. I also found that with the new purple glue, that it is not only a fun glue to have for my teen to use, but one that my preschooler will enjoy having as we do those fun arts and crafts at home this year. I say this because with the new purple glue, it goes on purple so that we can see it when applying, then dries clear so that we know when it is dry. Giving my preschooler a fun way of knowing when his projects are done.
Then with the Expo Dry Erase Markers, I find that they are another staple that is not only on many of those back to school lists for the teachers, but a item that I like to use in the home for when we do homework. They have a low odor to the markers, and with this particular set, we can know when the ink is running low by keeping an eye on the new Ink Indicator! Making the choice to add both the products from Elmer’s and Expo to our back to school shopping one that is sure to help the kids start the new year off right!
Product received, thank you to Newell Brands as well as the PR for supplying me with a product for this review, all opinions are my own.
Yeah your right before you know it school will be back in session. I used to love school supply shopping for my 2 Girls when they were in school along time ago.. Now a Days the lists are so long and so precise in the Brand etc you have to get them. Too much hunting for me! Lol..The Purple Elmers glue is so cool. That would be fascinating to kids when the purple turns to clear. I am not even sure what DRy Erase Markers are? I have seen the Expo pkg of them in the stores Before and always wondering what the difference between Regular colored markers and Dry Erase. I think I will look it up right after finishing here. Thank You for sharing this Review with us..
I haven't used either of those. No kids. I like that the markers have ink indicators. slehan at juno dot com
We love the purple glue. It goes on purple but turns clear! My kids get a kick out of it. They are putting back to school items on the shelf and it is hard to believe that next month my kids go back to school!
I really like using Expo Dry Erase Markers, and have a lot of colors of them. I think Dry erase boards are terrific and Elmers makes great products.twinkle at optonline dot net
Can't believe we're already thinking about school supplies again! Elmer's glue is always on my grandsons' supply list every year. We love their glue sticks!
