It is hard to believe that the summer is here, and that many of us are already preparing for the new school year ahead, but it is true and with that I find that now is the time to start tackling those back to school shopping lists. Like many with teens who are going to school or even have those in college this year, we find that those shopping lists get more and more complicated. Leaving us as parents or even students ourselves, trying to seek out those tools such as the laptops, certain types of paper, and calculators that are required for the new school year. The thing is, when I go to look for those calculators, I find that with the specifics that are required for a calculator that I can feel lost trying to find the right ones. And as a parent who is not only a mom to a teen who needs a calculator but who is a student myself, I have found that turning to the selection of Texas Instruments is the way to go. So when we were sent the TI-84 Plus CE Graphing Calculator to review, I was very excited to check out the specifications and add it to our back to school shopping list.
See with the TI-84 Plus CE Graphing Calculator, we can get a calculator that is made for not just college math and science needs, but also for kids in middle and high school. This calculator has the graphing capabilities that are needed for class, and unlike others that are similar, this one is 30% lighter and thinner than others. Allowing us to have the tool we might be needing, minus the bulky aspect that we might not want, and giving myself and my teen a lightweight calculator that is easier to carry throughout the day and even to after school activities. Along with the design being lighter and thinner, I also like that with the graphics and memory, that we get 6 times the memory which allows us to store those vivid, full color graphics, images, and data all on one calculator.

Then when it comes to the look of the TI-84 Plus CE, I like that we can choose the ones that are suited to my teens style, allowing her to have the colors she likes when she picks from the bold new colors that are available. Giving her a calculator that not only meets the requirements her teachers have specified on those back to school shopping lists, but also one that fits her style! Which in all makes the choice to pick up the TI-84 Plus CE from the line up at Texas Instruments for your middle school, high school and even college students, one that you and your kids are sure to appreciate. And to help with completing those back to school shopping lists this year, the wonderful people from Texas Instruments would like to give one of my amazing readers their own TI-84 Plus CE!
