The summer is upon us and like many little ones who are looking forward to the new school year, mine are not only enjoying their summer but also combating summer brain drain at the same time. We do this by adding educational toys, games, and more into our summer that are both fun and that help to keep their minds going. For my preschooler, he finds that he is preparing for the year that he will be heading to Kindergarten, which for him is a big deal. It means getting to ride the bus with his big brother, going all day at the same school his brother goes to, and making all new friends while feeding his little mind with all new knowledge that his teachers will be teaching him as well. And as a mom who enjoys feeding those minds, especially over the summer months when the dreaded summer brain drain can be a issue, I find that I like to seek out not only the products that offer educational fun but also those apps as well. So when I was introduced to the app, Zap Zap Kindergarten Math, I was excited to download it to our phones and tablets and let my soon to be Kindergartener play it.
With Zap Zap Kindergarten Math, the first thing that stood out for us was the fun rocket ship that takes my preschooler on a learning adventure! The adventure starts right after we finished setting up his account, which was a very simple process. Once the app was ready, his rocket ship blasted off to the first destination, where he was eager to begin taking on the mission ahead.
The missions are all ones that are geared at keeping him engaged, where he first started out by counting up to 10, then leveled up into the learning of simple math. He found the adding and subtracting to be challenging, and a lot of fun, and as he completed each level he earned stars that he needed so that he could continue onto the next set of mathematical challenges!
Then when it comes to all that my preschooler can get when he plays the Zap Zap Kindergarten Math App, I like that it helps to give him confidence when counting, adding and subtracting. I also like that it takes the learning up a level with each completion, and that the leveling up is gradual which makes it simple for him to follow along with. Making the choice to add the Zap Zap Kindergarten Math App along with other games from Zap Zap Math to your summer or for anytime of the year when you have little ones in the home, one that both you and your kids are sure to appreciate and enjoy having!
