Summer Scavenger Hunt with the Family and Walmart Family Mobile

When it comes to the summer months and family time, I find that the two just go together. We tend to have more time to spend together and as parents, I find that I like to come up with ways to make that time together more memorable. I do this by coming up with activities that we can do as a family, the ones that take us outdoors together as we seek out those adventures to be had. I also find that by heading to my local Walmart, that I can pick up the supplies we might need to make those adventures together that much better. I was able to locate both the phones I was seeking along with the various plans to go along with the phones by heading to the Electronics department at my local Walmart store. The Walmart Family Mobile display was located on the other side of the electronics counter where I was able to easily spot it out since it has the Walmart colors and logos used in the display. I also found that the friendly staff who worked the Electronics department were very knowledgeable about not just the phones but also the plans I can go with by explaining how easy the plans are to use. They showed me that with Walmart Family Mobile there is no contract, and with the clear monthly service plans, you see exactly what you will be getting. After reading over the pamphlet that was on the Walmart Family Mobile stand, I learned that there are also not any late fees, and when it comes to streaming those movies as we head out for our summer road trips I will receive a free VUDU ◊ movie rental credit valued at $7.00 each time I renew my service on the $49.88 PLUS Plan.

Once I had picked out the LG L59 Grace and the $49.88 PLUS Plan, I continued my shopping to pick up other items I needed for our scavenger hunt which included the notebooks and pencils for drawing and writing down what we found on our hunt, along with printer paper to use for printing off the map and scavenger hunt instructions on. From there, I was able to go home and activate my new phone right away without any hassle. In fact, when it came to the activation, I was pleased to find that there were no activation fees, and if I wanted to bring an old phone over, I could do that as well, making the process from start to finish very simple. Then for our summer scavenger hunt we set up a map on a print out of some of our favorite parks to visit, and at each destination we had the kids find 2 separate items. The kids used the LG L59 Grace to GPS the locations and tell us when we arrived at each place. After arriving to each destination on our map, the hunt was on to find the objects on the lists they were given. When the kids found the objects on their list they took photos using the LG L59 8 MP camera and also documented what they found in their notebooks by drawing a picture and adding a brief description of the area they found it in. Giving us as a family, a fun activity to do together that the kids can look back on over and over again!
